Inductive Motors

The inductive motor optimisation panel is a product designed to increase the efficiency of an inductive load by locally controlling delivery of the necessary reactive power so that the value of the current and consequently the power flowing through the upstream network can be reduced. This means:

•The Inductive load characteristics are unchanged

•The infrastructures characteristics from the incoming meter back to the inductive motor optimisation panel are positively altered to increase efficiency

 This in turn allows:

1. Monetary savings on electricity bills 

2. Better utilization of electrical machines

3. Better utilization of electrical infrastructure

4. Reduction of electrical losses: reduction of voltage drops

5. Reduction of carbon emission: reduction of electricity costs

6. Increased motor life: reduction in penalty charges and fines

The productis a custom built unit manufactured to Ip65 standards with CE approval. With no moving parts failure rates are extremely low and it is easily installed adjacent to the inductive load. The imop is wired in parallel therefore, this will not affect the normal working of the inductive load in the unlikely event failure occurs. This patented diagnostic device & methodology determines to an exact science how much capacitance is required to optimise each inductive load to ensure maximum efficiency. Optimising is precisely accomplished on each inductive load in minutes.

There are over 650 pre-engineered products in the range, all assembled on a modular template. Installation is fast, simple and sized (optimised) to the specific unit. Power (kWH) savings are immediate and average around 10% but range from 6 % to a impressive 25%. Return on investment is rapid, in most cases within 24 months. More information>>

What is an inductive load?

An inductive load is any equipment (i.e. motors, pumps, heaters etc) using a magnetic field to operate. Within business today your inductive loads are the main cause of:

•Power inefficiency

•Wasted energy consumption

•Increased carbon footprint

This reduces your ability to be a ‘Carbon Neutral Business’. The majority of inductive loads are AC motors however, inductive loads are also found in various types of:

•Luminaire transformers

•Fluorescent lighting ballast

•Heaters

‘The clever box’

By attaching ‘the clever box’ to the inductive load terminals and carrying out a short simple optimisation process, a custom built inductive motor optimisation panel can be selectedto suit each individual installation in a speedy and cost effective manner.



Water and Energy

The water purification and electricity generation system  is a unique, innovative technology that operates with a proven gasification process to produce high quality, renewable bio-gas. It uses no external power source to release hydrogen and other combustible gases from water.
The only by products of the system are electricity and clean water.

Any water source can be used, be it sewerage water, contaminated water or salt water. Advanced membrane technology separates the water from the contaminants in the water supply. The water stream is then further purified and concentrated matter removed from it, which is processed and turned into bio-fuel as a fuel source. The pure water is then processed further to extract hydrogen while creating a super oxygen saturated water stream as a by product.

The system uses a nano technology monolithic reactor concept offering a very high hydrogen splitting capacity. The hydrogen generated is fed into a modified gas turbine generator which can individually generate 280MW or be connected in parallel for higher electricity generation.



Smart Grid System

The term Smart Grid may be best understood as the overlaying of a unified communications and control system on the existing power delivery infrastructure to provide the right information to the right entity (e.g. end-use devices, Transmission and Distribution, system controls, customers, etc.) at the right time to take the right action.

It is a system that optimizes power supply and delivery, minimizes losses, is self-healing, and enables next-generation energy efficiency and demand response applications.

A Smart Grid entails an open standard for communications with devices – both Transmision and Distribution and end use devices – advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), two-way communications between a utility and its customers, and smart interconnections to distributed energy resources.

A Smart Grid will also facilitate the market adoption and interconnection of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), hybrid electric vehicles that can be plugged into electrical outlets for recharging. 

A Smart Grid is a critical element for Dynamic Energy Management, the synergistic effect of a Smart Grid with smart energy-efficient end-use devices, advanced whole building control systems, and smart distributed energy resources to yield energy savings and peak demand reductions greater than what could otherwise be realized. A Smart Grid would potentially link all of these elements together and provide constant communications between a utility and its customers to optimize energy efficiency and mitigate emissions.

Software solutions and technology products are available that facilitate the development of the Smart Grid. Additionally, through  agreements with Carbon data vendors like AMEE, we are uniquely positioned to translate the Dynamic Energy Management of our deployments into Carbon Emissions.

Our knowledge loop ensures that we capture data devices from our users and feed this back into the knowledge database of carbon emissions. This information assists utilities with their energy management strategies and leads to further Carbon Reduction solutions and developments.



Light Sleeve


The Photo Luminescent Light Sleeve is a failsafe, environmentally friendly hollow tube which encases standard T8 and T12 fluorescent lamps and is held in place by end caps which are supplied as standard with the Light Sleeve, or alternatively with custom retainer rings.

The Light Sleeve consists primarily of a blend of polymers, photo luminescent pigment, binding and suspension agents, and ultra-violet light inhibitors.

The Lumenite® Light Sleeve absorbs energy from the fluorescent lamp when it is on, and releases that energy in the form of light upon the light source being removed.

The unique characteristic of the Photo Luminescent Light Sleeve is that unlike conventional photo luminescent products which are designed to ‘be seen’ after the normal light source has been removed, the Light Sleeve emits usable light ‘for seeing’, projecting it onto the surfaces of pathway obstructions thereby providing visual guidance and enabling safe and expedient movement and evacuation when needed.

Photo Luminescence

Illumination products that use no electricity, solar or batteries for energy supply are a new technological development. They provide a visual ‘glow in the dark’ functionality with multiple applications thus affording a low cost alternative in many situations to traditional lighting and as such are truly green and eco-friendly products.

These proprietary, high-grade, advanced photo luminescent products are ideal for safety applications. The company works closely with 3M to produce an additional variety of advanced photo luminescent and 3M light-reflective materials for the best safety products available in the world.

The products produce a luminescence which lasts for 18 hours—more when fully charged by a full-spectrum light source such as the sun—and will perform at 100% capacity for more than 10 years.The products meet or exceed New York City Building Code Standard Local Law 26, DIN standards, ASTM 2072, 2073, 2030, ISO 15370 standards, MIL-L-3891, APTA SS-PS-004,002 and JIS Z 9100 standards.

Leak Detection

The leak detection product protects properties from internal flooding by monitoring the water supply. It has four main features to assist with protecting the property:

• Time out Monitor
• Excess Flow Indicator
• Freeze Selector
• Non Use Detector

When flooding occurs, the time out monitor automatically turns off the water supply. The time out function will turn off the water supply if there are leaking water pipes, defective appliances or if a tap has been left running. The excess flow indicator monitors the average use of water. If for example, a pipe bursts, then the product will automatically turn off the water supply. The freeze protector turns off the water supply if the temperature where the product is installed falls below three degrees centigrade. The Non Use detector turns off the water if no water has been used for twenty four hours.

Wet pads


Wets Pads are small plastic molds with sensors which can detect even the smallest amount of water. The Wet Pad is about the length of a credit card. The first Wet Pad is wired into the back of the Remote Switch (only two wires), and placed anywhere around the property where a water leak could or might be expected, under the washing machine or dishwasher, under the boiler, under the sink, bath etc. More Information>>

Any number of Wet Pads can be fitted. Adding more is easy, wiring is also easy, just join them up in parallel. There is no voltage at all connected to the Wet Pads so completely safe.

If any one of the Wet Pads get slightly damp it will set off a loud audible alarm inside the Remote Switch. It will also turn off the water supply until it is reset.

Air Conditioning

Introducing the Air Conditioning Energy Saver! Most existing air conditioning units waste a significant part of the consumed electricity because they are not controlled in a smart way. Air conditioning has a huge potential for efficiency improvements

Air conditioning is one of the largest energy consumers in the residential and industrial sector. Thousands of air conditioners put high demands on our electricity networks. On a smaller scale, air conditioning probably accounts for a significant part of your energy bill.

Many existing air conditioners use old and quite inefficient technology. Although improved technology has become available in more expensive systems (e.g. inverter technology), the payback time of these systems is still very long and most of this technology is not suitable as an easy and economical aftermarket fit to existing systems.

How does the aircon energy saver improve energy efficiency?

The aircon energy saver compensates the shortcomings of typical AC units and adds intelligence to your AC system. The unit’s sensor-driven software algorithms are designed to detect thermodynamic saturation and to optimize the compressor accordingly. When overcapacity is detected, the unit switches the compressor off and avoids inefficient overcooling.

Your unit switches into “saver mode”. The fan keeps running and your system makes maximum use of the stored cooling energy in the heat exchanger. Once the stored energy is used up, the compressor can work efficiently again and is switched back on.

The set room temperature is reached without the inefficient parts of the cooling cycle. This results in significant energy savings without compromising cooling comfort.

Since the correct point to switch the compressor varies from unit to unit and changes with different weather conditions, the unit is constantly monitoring the cooling status of your aircon unit and adapting its settings to ensure efficient operation of your air conditioning system at all times.


Solar Solutions

Solar panels make use of renewable energy from the sun, and are a clean and environmentally sound means of collecting solar energy. Solar cells, or photovoltaic cells, are arranged in a grid-like pattern on the surface of the solar panel. These solar voltaic cells collect sunlight during the daylight hours and covert it into electricity.

Light Reflectors

For commercial and industrial purposes, fluorescent lights are the most commonly used application for illumination. They are cylindrical in design with a 360 degree projection. The Power Nano Light Reflector capability fully reflects the lighting potential with maximum effectiveness.

The structure is composed of PE Film/Protector (10%), Anti-oxidant (5%), Nano-Aluminum (5%) with a PET base of 80%.

An independent test report using the Nano Reflectors increased the brightness rate of fluorescent cylinders by 2.17 at a one metre distance. This affords the option of decreasing the amount of fluorescents yet still achieving efficient illumination. The reflectors are available in various sizes to compliment the fluorescent variables.
